It has been a while since I have posted so here is an update.
In September we took a trip to Oak Glen. We were joined by my parents
who have not been a in while. We started at Riley's Farm and pressed
cider. My mother took the pictures and put it in a little scrap book
page. I don't know if you could tell, but Kyle's favorite part was the washing the apples. We made two gallons and it was good.
We then headed over to Los Rios to pick up our apple pie. Best crumb top apple pie ever. We stopped at the petting zoo and let Kyle run a muck. He chased the animals and tried to ride a sheep. Best part was the wash basin after leaving the petting zoo.

We then picked rasberries across the street. It was probably the best year that we have seen for berries. People actually pick one gallon containers. Kyle did a really good job of picking and not crushing the berries.
In the middle of October we went back to mine and Katie's Alma Mater for the annual punkin festival. Each year we forget that stollers are not the way to transport kids, a wagon is. We did remember however to get there early so we had a decent parking place.

Now we come to Halloween. Kyle has been fascinated with spiders so he was the "Itsy Bisty Spider" and Joshua was the sun. These were taken at the ward Halloween party. There was a chilli cook off. We placed second and last. We did the traditional white chill. If you have not had it you are missing out. There was a concern that we would not have enough chilli because we ran out last year. So I bought abunch of inexpensive canned chilli as a back up. It smelled bad and tasted even worse. To top it of no one ate it. After dumping it down the garbage disposal I realized I had burned the bottom 1/2" of the chilli. I found out the baking soda is a good cleaning agent. I used half a box after chiseling the majority of the charcoal out of the bottom
