This section is devoted to the customer photos and suggestions I receive. I believe that there is always room for improvement. I also believe there are better ways to make these projects. This page is devoted to you to help me improve.

I've made the cherry picker and the plans were fine but I've a couple of
points about construction. I made the bucket exactly to your dimensions
out of laminated 3/4 inch beech and I think it became a tad too heavy for
the lift mechanism. Perhaps if I had made it from pine it would have
been lighter. If I were to make the model again I would make the bucket
from hardwood 1/4 inch strips. Your way of using split ends for the
lift arms is very ingenious but needs extremely careful cutting. I used
3/4 inch beech for both arms and at a first fitting the joints were too
loose to hold up the inspection bucket. I got over the problem by
inserting wedges into the cuts - banging them in to get a tight fit
having glued them first. That seems to have done the trick.
Here is a customer photo of the rocking chair. His wife made the cushions for it. I think he did a great job and the cushions added a nice touch
Here is another photo of a customer that modified the flat bed design into a water truck. I am excited to see woodworkers able to take the designs I do and modify them into something else.
